Adi Prasetijo, M.Si /Executive Director (Founder)

Adi Prasetijo is an anthropologist who received his bachelor degree from Gadjah Mada Univeristy and a master degree from University of Indonesia in Anthropology. He has over 10 years working experience all over Indonesia in peacebuilding, development, and cultural studies. He received some training for Conflict Transformation & Peacebuilding in Mindanao, Philippine

and Cambodia; and CBT (Community Based Tourism) training in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is a member of SFAA (Society for Applied Anthropology)(Nevada, US) and IWGIA (International Working Group for Indigenous People Affairs)(Copenhagen, Denmark). Previously, he worked for several donor institutions in Indonesia, such as UNESCO, WARSI & NRF (Norwegian Rainforest Foundation), and Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Indonesia for peacebuilding programs. His competencies are in the area of social cultural assessment, stakeholder analysis, and conflict-sensitive approaches for extractive industries. He is capable to design and implement conflict sensitive approach and strategies and has provide technical assistance to many local organizations and communities to develop long-term social development programs that allow them to address conflict reduction objectives, to resolve conflict independently while obtaining self-sustenance by giving access to development opportunities.
